HITLAB TEAM • December 26, 2024

HITLAB is thrilled to announce the successful completion of the Fall 2024 semester of its Developing Emerging Leaders in Public Health Innovation (DELPHI) Internship Program. This flagship initiative continues to inspire and nurture the next generation of healthcare innovation leaders, providing a unique platform for emerging talent to engage with the dynamic field of digital health.

The DELPHI Internship Program operates three semesters annually—Spring, Summer, and Fall—offering year-round opportunities for students and emerging professionals to contribute to pioneering health technology projects. In 2024, we received over 1,000 applications, reflecting the program’s growing reputation and impact. We selected more than 150 exceptional interns, with 122 successfully graduating throughout the year, making notable contributions across various areas of digital health.

This Fall, 29 talented interns graduated from the program, leaving a lasting impression through their outstanding contributions and dedication. Their overall feedback score of 8.57 out of 10 highlights our commitment to providing a meaningful and impactful experience. Additionally, 90% of the interns expressed a desire to return for another semester, emphasizing the value and transformative nature of the DELPHI program.

During the 10-week semester, the interns delved into various health technology sectors, including Research, Women’s HealthTech, the BreakThrough Alliance, Business Strategy, Events, and Marketing and Communications. Collaborating closely with their mentors, they contributed to high-impact projects that drive innovation and shape the future of healthcare.

The DELPHI Internship’s distinctive focus on hands-on learning, critical thinking, and measurable impact equips participants with the skills and confidence needed to thrive in a competitive and rapidly changing health tech landscape. This semester’s graduates gained valuable experience, practical insights, and a deeper understanding of how innovation can transform global health.

HITLAB extends its profound appreciation to the Fall 2024 cohort for their commitment, creativity, and enthusiasm. Their contributions reinforce the importance of collaboration and innovation in advancing healthcare solutions.
