The Summer 2024 semester of the DELPHI Internship was a resounding success, attracting over 300 applications from talented individuals across the globe. With a competitive

selection process, we welcomed an exceptional cohort of interns who brought diverse perspectives and expertise to the program. Innovative Projects & Areas of Focus

During the Summer 2024 program, interns were immersed in a variety of themes and initiatives that reflect the core focus areas of HITLAB’s mission:

Research

Interns conducted in-depth market research and literature reviews to identify trends and opportunities in digital health.

Women's Health Tech

This initiative focused on emerging digital solutions in women’s health, from menopause technologies to maternal care innovations.

Breakthrough Alliance

Interns supported community development and collaboration with global leaders to evaluate and scale breakthrough health technologies.

Grant Development

Interns worked closely with the HITLAB team to identify potential partners, sponsors, and funding opportunities and draft compelling grant proposals that align with strategic goals.

Strategy

Interns assisted with business development strategies, exploring partnership opportunities and crafting models for growth in the digital health sector

Marketing

Interns worked on developing HITLAB’s marketing strategies, including content creation, social media management, and brand positioning for greater visibility in the digital health space

Events

Interns closely observed and helped with organizing and managing HITLAB’s high-impact events, such as digital health challenges and global symposiums, enhancing both operational execution and attendee engagement

Each initiative allowed interns to apply their academic knowledge to real-world challenges, contributing to HITLAB’s larger mission of advancing healthcare through technology and innovation.

Learning & Impact

The DELPHI Internship is not just about gaining experience—it’s about fostering critical thinking, conscious learning, and making a tangible impact in the world of digital health. Interns develop essential skills such as research methodology, market analysis, strategic planning, and grant writing. By working on live projects, they also gain first-hand experience in collaborating with experts and crafting solutions that address pressing health challenges.

Through their work, interns see the direct impact of their contributions on healthcare outcomes, learning to apply digital tools to improve patient care, access, and innovation. This experience prepares them for future roles in healthcare, technology, and leadership.
