New York, NY, September 26, 2024— HITLAB is pleased to announce the addition of several leaders to its Breakthrough Alliance (BTA) Board. 

These new members bring a wealth of experience and insights from across the healthcare, technology, and digital health sectors. They will join the current members in guiding the BTA’s mission to accelerate the adoption of groundbreaking digital health solutions and foster innovation that improves healthcare outcomes. 

The HITLAB Breakthrough Alliance is dedicated to identifying, testing, and scaling innovative digital health solutions. The newly appointed board members will provide strategic counsel, shape key initiatives, and support the Alliance’s role in connecting leading industry experts with promising innovators. 

New Board Members Include: 

• Randy Subramany, Director Supply Chain, NY Presbyterian
• Alba Zurriaga, Head of Global Innovation Strategy, Sanofi Ventures
• Lee Shapiro, Managing Partner, 7wireVentures
• Gurdeep Sareen, Regional Director of Pharmacy, Optum

These leaders bring expertise from areas such as clinical research, health tech entrepreneurship, and policy, further solidifying HITLAB’s role as a catalyst for change in the digital health landscape.

The Breakthrough Alliance Board will continue to lead HITLAB’s signature programs, including global competitions, pilot studies, and thought leadership initiatives. The new members’ contributions will help accelerate the evaluation and deployment of innovative solutions that can transform the health system for patients, providers, and stakeholders worldwide.
