Senior Healthcare Analytics Consultant

Sarianne Gruber sees the future of healthcare through data and communication. She brings many years of experience in health outcomes research and performance analytics. She has been leading research in study design and performance outcomes to drive a more patient-centric and cost-sensitive healthcare system.

Her project list includes top-tier market research firms, medical institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and payers such as Anthem Health, Tenet Healthcare, GE Healthcare, GfK Healthcare, and the John Theurer Cancer Center at the Hackensack University Medical Center, Mount Sinai Health System, Johnson & Johnson, and Novartis.

Solving strategic problems and breaking new ground with data is not just a skill but a passion. Sarianne has delivered solutions that have changed how we treat and care for patients.  At Ellipsis Health, a San Francisco based startup with proven AI technology for detecting anxiety and depression via speech, she leads the data analysis between clinical research and data science teams to introduce efficacious models for publication.  As a health data specialist for New Jersey’s COVID-19 emergency grant, she facilitates the survey research and the epidemiological reports from behavioral healthcare centers and state agencies.  A gratifying experience is conducting a real-time study that provides telehealth outreach to those in need of mental health services during the pandemic and serving as a conduit to the federal policymakers.

Bringing technology to life requires data. As the first project manager for the cancer center, she designed and implemented a real-time patient database for tracking patient outcomes and survival analysis, which has evolved into COTA Healthcare. Sarianne served as a functional analyst for GE Healthcare to vet the newly innovated population health software Caradigm (now Inspirata).  As blogger and thought leader, Sarianne has published over 80 articles on population health, data science, value-based care, and Social Determinants of Health.  Her articles appear in Answers Media Network, Predictive World Analytics, Telehealth and Telecare Aware, and Pharmaceutical Representative.

SG Healthcare Analytics LLC was started by Sarianne in June 2010 with the mission of bringing analytics to the non-technical audience. She holds an MS in Management Science from New York University, an MPH in Biostatistics from Yale University, and a BA in Bio-Computing from Goucher College. Visit her site at www.movedbymetrics.com
